Wings again

I made the mistake of ordering new colors of film for wings, and just had to try out a couple of them today. The first pair was made with a pale color film and really looked washed out when I hit it with the heat gun. So it got a treatment with alcohol inks. I wasn't too thrilled with it at first, but after glittering it up with micro beads and glitter(of course) I like it a bit better. The second one was made with a richer colored film and so many colors appeared when it was heated, I wouldn't have known what to add, so I left it as is. I wish the sparkle of the beads and glitter showed up better in the photos!

Mary the wings are stunning. I don't think the pictures do justice the anything made with these films. For some reason the colours don't show well but oh I know they are gorgeous and I love the shapes.

Sweet Mary, BOTH are MARVELOUS! You have made wings that ANY fairy would be proud to wear! I love both pair, but I rather PREFER the more 'muted' ones. I think they would be just right for a CLASSY fairy! You know - basic black and tasteful, subdued wings with just enough beading to be spectacular! (Ha! As IF I would know CLASSY from CRAZY attire! Well, actually, I KNOW it - I just don't WEAR it! LOL) BEAUTIFUL WINGS! BEAUTIFUL WING ARTIST!

Oh Mary those wongs are just awesome. The first one is so subtle in color but is beautiful that way. I just love the way you shaped that second set of wings as it is so unique. You are such a class act!

Oh! Your wings are beautiful. I signed up for Jean's free wings class too, but haven't had time to play yet. Can't wait to get started. In the meantime yours are so very pretty. Love that little elf with the wings too. Great job.
