Photo a Week
When the flowers were delivered I was in complete confusion as to who could have sent them. My dearly beloved has never before sent me flowers. He has bought them at the grocery store or at a local shop, but never ordered them to be delivered. So this was a very special bouquet for me.
In return I bought him chocolates (I had asked him not to get candy for me) and golf balls. Then we had a lovely steak dinner (but no candlelight...sigh) and I had made his favorite banana cream pie for dessert. Who said romance is for the young?

That Roy is a real sweetheart, isn't he? And it sounds like you spoiled him, too. You two are such lovebirds ;)
The best surprises are always the unexpected ones, and those flowers are a divine sight, especially at this gray and dreary time of year. I'm so glad your Valentine's celebration was such a sweet one!
