Photo a Day Jan. 24, 2009

Someone posted a photo of migrating birds a couple of days ago and I remembered taking this picture last week but never posted it. I don't have any idea what kind of birds these were, but there were thousands of them! Having my camera handy is such a boon these days. I wish I had had it handy some years ago when I came upon thousands of migrating snow geese clustered around a pond in a field on my way home one day. Cars were stopping along the roadside just to watch them....and so did I!

OMG! What a flock! I wonder if they could be crows or starling. We get big flocks of those occasionally- and what a racket the make.

Mary O that was me that posted those birds. Wow, now this picture is a lot of birds. I would have locked myself in the house. That movie "The Birds" made me have such a creepy feeling any time I see a bunch of birds together like this. Great shot.

At first I thought it was bugs on the windshield,LOL!! Now that is a lot of birds at one time, I'm glad you had your camera with you and it seems I go nowhere without my camera nowadays.
