Surprise! No bird pictures, trees, or squirrels today! I've been looking for my knitting I started last year, and just found it today. When I start clearing up and organizing the clutter before the holiday guests start coming, I put things away SO carefully I can hardly ever find anything again. I'm thrilled to find these two scarves. They're both very easy and something comforting to do when there's nothing on TV to watch in the evenings.

easy!? looks hard to me :) but I just learned to knit, so would have a lot of dropped stitches if I tried those. They look really nice :D

Hi Mary. I've been itchin' to do some knittin' lately and seeing these two beautiful scarves really makes me want to get started. Really like the pattern on both of these.

Linda, I had planned to give them to the granddaughters last year but didn't get them done. They may get them next Christmas....maybe.
Don't those look cozy! They are both very pretty, but I especially like the vine-y lace of the green one. I'm glad you found them too -- it would have been a shame for them to remain lost UFO'S.
I need to take this up as a hobby. These are beautiful. I have done both crochet and knitting but it must have been 30 years ago. I can still feel the way the needles move. But, I would not remember how to even start one again.
You sound like me, ...I put things away and forget where I put them and it's such a surprise to come across something months or years later.
