Photo a Week My Workspace

Sorry the photos are so dreary, but it was that kind of day. Here's where I work, when I work. Right now, not a lot is getting done. I have projects in the works, but little to nothing to show for them at this point. I'm beginning to feel concerned that my creative juices have dried up completely and that makes me very sad. I have a great group of supportive and very creative friends and that should motivate me, right? So far, all I seem to do is play with my paints and brushes, read encouraging books, and try to reclaim the passion for art I once had. My hope is that it's all temporary and I'll get those wheels turning again soon! Better never to have had the passion than to have it, then lose it...........
Wow, sorry to be so gloomy today! That's what looking at my neglected workspace does to me. Next post will be brighter, I promise!!!!!

I really do hope you feel like creating again one day soon. Your work table is such a nice one!

Thanks for sharing your workspaces with us, Mary....they remind me a lot of my own. I have gone through the same dilemma as you re. feeling like the creative juices are drying up. I think all artists face this problem at one time or another but I'm sure that, before too long, you will find yourself back into the swing of things....baby steps.

playing with paints and reading books are great ways to reclaim creativity. playing often turns into great things :) hope you get inspired soon!

MOM! I had no idea you had such a dedicated and fabulous workspace! I would like to come over and play in it :D hee hee. I do hope your muse returns home, painting is still creating so she hasn't left you entirely! Sometimes it helps wake mine up if I pick up something even if I'm reallly not in the mood and force myself to play...

BIG hugs,
Sprite

Your crowded table looks so much like my workspace! I sure hope you get motivated again too.

Just thinking about you this week and wondering how you have been.
Are you still making dolls or did you give that up for your painting?
If you find time sometime drop me a email
