Photo-a-Day Challenge 2

This is a photo similar to the one I tried uploading yesterday without success. This little fellow has greeted us the last few mornings, feasting at a pan of birdseed we put out (with a brick in the middle to hold it down in the wind).
The next shot resulted from my curiosity when I noticed Roy standing in the driveway looking up at the sky. It prompted me to grab the camera in case it was something worth noting.

Aw.. that squirrel is cute. But they can sure hog the bird seed, can't they? When we lived in IL. we had to put baffles on our bird feeder poles to keep them from emptying the feeders every day. We put corn feeders on a tree for them. The FL. squirrels are really little and scrawny compared to the ones we were used to seeing.

Love the sky photo- you are a sky watcher like me ;)

Oh, how my mother hated squirrels in her bird feeder -- they are so cute though. Look at those bright eyes!

I hardly ever seen squirrels here, kind of odd not seeing them everywhere. They are cute, but big thiefs lol

Thanks Mary. The squirrels we had around our place when we lived up north we aggresive to the point they chewed on the siding on our house trying to get to inside.

Nice pics Mary! Love the little squirrel and it looks like you are enjoying your new toy!! My mom was the neighborhood "squirrel lady". All her neighbors were made because she fed the squirrels peanuts and they left the shells all over the place. lol Karen

Is that really a squirrel - or a little oinker with a fuzzy tail? You got a great "action" shot with him!

Okay, this one has a waistline that reminds me of mine and cheeks you just want to pinch. How nice of him to pose so nicely for you.
