Photo a Day Jan. 20, 2009

Taking a hint from Linda's photo shoot a couple of days ago, I ventured out in the cold today, sans gloves (brrrr!), and took a couple of photos of the back of our house. Our bedroom is under the skylights you can see at one end of the house. Directly below the middle skylight are the windows in my breakfast room where my computer dwells and where I'm looking out on the backyard at this moment.

This is just another shot of the back of the house toward the front of our property.
It really is very pretty at other times of the year, but looks very dull and boring right now!

Well ...as always, I love it when people show their houses. Now, would love to see a photo of the inside with the light coming through the skylights! Big back yard...

You have a beautiful home Mary -- is that a porch swing I see on the large deck? I imagine that it is a wonderful place to spend a peaceful evening when the weather is nice. No wonder you have so many birds!!

You're right, Judi, it is a swing, and Roy and I love to spend summer evenings there watching the birds settle in for the night.

Very nice I like the skylights, there is something about having natural light streaming in.

Your house looks just lovely and you have such a nice yard. It looks pretty good to me, no snow. I agree, photos of your house inside and out are so interesting. Really makes you feel like you stopped over for a cup of coffee/tea and a chat.
