A lovely summer bloom from my Southern Magnolia I planted in the side yard about 15 years ago.

This is how the tree looks now. This variety of magnolia has been my favorite since I was a child and the neighbor on the corner had huge ones in her yard.

Mary my very favorite flower is the magnolia and rose..
I would give anything to have a tree planted here but I am sure it would never make the winters.I also love the red bud tree but they don't do well here either..
Beautiful photo!
Beautiful flower and photo.
I can feel the heat from the sun looking at the pic of this flower. Bet it smells wonderful too. Does the tree normally bloom all over? The tree itself is a lovely shape too.
